To me, beauty isn’t found in perfection, but in the irregular, the unexpected. Beauty lives in undefinable moments.
It’s the imperfections that hold stories, that connect us to what is real and fragile. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration: ever-changing and fleeting.
I work with leather, a material that already carries a history and can never be fully tamed. Sometimes, I shape it into an organic form, other times, I begin with a precise pattern. But I always leave room for the unexpected. The leather bends, wrinkles, shifts. That’s where it begins, in letting go of control.
Through my work, I hope to spark a sense of wonder. To invite you to slow down, to pause, and to truly see what so often goes unnoticed: the quiet beauty of the everyday, the overlooked, the imperfect.

WHO AM I?
Hi, my name is Daniëlle and this is me in my happy place, surrounded by nature.
I think the reason I love nature so much is because it makes me feel like I’m part of something greater.
It humbles me, in the best possible way.
Why the picture of the shoe? These shoes are very practical, old, heavy, and damaged, but... they’re my absolute favorite! Whenever I put them on, I know I’m going on an adventure. I'll be surrounded by beauty and my head will be full of new ideas.
I’ve always felt a strong urge to create. It’s been with me ever since I was a child. There always has to be something in the making. I get restless when I can’t express that energy.
My favorite days are the ones when I can create purely from intuition and emotion. Those are the moments of wild experimentation, when ideas flow freely and new concepts are born.
And then, when the creative storm settles, a calmer phase begins. That’s when I start refining, learning from what I’ve discovered, and shaping those ideas into artpieces.
